NPP Muffler Install Question
I just found a real nice set of NPP's off of a 2010 A6 to install on my 2008 A6. Checking to see if I understand: (Right side) It should be easy for a muffler shop to cut/weld or bend the right side just in front of the axle. (Left side) Goes right in perfect fit.
Do I have to drop the mid pipe? I read where some people just back it up on ramps and switch them out, but the right side makes it sound like it may not be DIY.

You are correct. Right side has a different bend in it for the 05 - 08 Corvette then the 09 - 13 which your mufflers are for. Muffler shop can help you. GL. Don’t forget you will also need the NPP in a box system.

Yeah, I've been looking for one of those pipes, hard to come by. I'll probably leave them open most of the time and close as needed with a short lock rod that just snaps on and off as needed until I decide on a vacuum control.
Still wondering just how much of a bend is needed (bender required?) or if cut/weld is a better option...and if most people drop the mid pipe. Thx!
