Default Mild 2 Wild Switch

Is there a mild 2 wild switch that utilizes the universal home link button on the visor?

It may only be certain years. I don't have that brand but mine doesn't work in my 08 but it works in other years.

Made my own switch for like $10. There are tons of threads about making your own. Basically a switch + wire + mini add a circuit + fuse taps + about 20 minutes of your time. I still haven't mounted my switch just yet as I am looking for the best place for it.

GM changed from the Homelink brand to the Lear car2u universal visor mid year in 2006.

If you want to control the bi-mode exhaust on your late year 2006-2013 c6 with npp, Z06 or zr1 with the universal remote you will need the Exhaust Commander car2u.

It works using a single button on the universal remote.

There are several threads here on CF about it.

Here is the product page:

I have a question - can it be set to always be in the "quiet" mode until you press the button to open the NPP system?

I put mine on the very bottom of the dash next to the kick panel by my left knee.

Yes,

With Exhaust Commander car2u you can choose to have the car start each time in the quiet mode, or you can choose to have it start in the loud mode each startup.

Then you can press the button on the visor to change modes.
