Congrats on the Vert my friend. Love the 427s, and I loved your ZR1 as well.

I posted on another thread about my results for searching for a Z06/427 vert this past Saturday in the DFW area. I'll give details here on one specific visit, which I did not share in that thread. One particular dealer has one 427 vert, the 1SC 60th Anniversary Model, ie - your car. Sticker is $91K or thereabouts. It seems that you can easily get this car from forum dealers around $75/76K with the $3k loyalty discount. Well, here's the kicker on this particular car...it's a DEMO (the dealership owner)...with 3K miles...and it has been "customized" by the dealership owner...ie - curb rash on the front carbon splitter, they have the part and will put it on and it will be like it's never been damaged. So, you'd think they would be dealing on this, right? Well, in their minds, they are...but not in mine. Showed them where I could get a brand new one (zero miles, zero damage) for $75K...they said "go and get it because the best we can do is 76K" LOL

I know it's confusing, but it is either 1SA, 1SB or 1SC for the 427 vert from what little I know. The C is the top/loaded model, which yours is, as is the one that I looked at, so far all of them that I have looked at are the C. (insert a hat-tipping icon here).

As an aside, just got a call from the sales manager at another dealer that I visited with on Saturday, showed them the deal I could get on a 1SC 427 vert and they didn't even counter. Sales manager asks me today what he can do to "earn my business." My response: "A counter-offer would be a good start." Him: "I'll call you back in two minutes" (that was at least 10 minutes ago)...LOL...this is not for the Anniversary Edition, it is for a yellow one, it looks really cool. Didn't think I would like it until I saw it in person.

So, got a call from the dealer with the yellow 427 1SC (MSRP is 91/92K), said "the best I could do is $88K" (that's what I was offered on Saturday, actually probably higher, that is no discount other than the $2K GM rebate and the $3K vette loyalty...adding them up it looks like the sticker went up LOL).

Anyway, countered with my 77K offer for a local dealer, he said "That's a heck of a deal, I can't touch it." I guess they are "collecting" that vette LOL.
