Harmonic balancer failure poll

Seems like I see a lot of folks posting threads about the possible / failure of the harmonic balancer on their cars. I was curious in seeing just how pervasive the problem is. If you respond please indicate the mileage on your vehicle when / or each time you experienced the problem.

Replaced on my 05 Z51 (with ATI) at 42k miles. Had the squealing pig on cold start and wobbling as they all end up doing.
You couldn't have paid me to put another GM POS in it.
ATI is the $#it. Awesome build.

05 Z51 M6...Bought in October 2013...garage queen 25K.
Winter 2013 upgrades included an Eforce 554 and since it was all right there open and the crank had to get pinned I said put on an ATI even though there were no obvious problems.
When the OEM was out in hand the synthetic/rubber was clearly compressing and it was sliding forward...I'm glad I was preemptive and saved all the labor cost to strip is down and get at it to fix it. Not many miles on it but it was 8+ years old when it was replaced so maybe that's a factor too.

Today I went looking in the NCCC competition manual to see what the rule changes would be for 2015. To my surprise, both the 2014 and 2015 version say that you must use the stock HB to be legal for NCCC competition, no aftermarket.
