Default Best low profile jack to buy

Just bought a 2007 silver Vette, manual, 3LT and it is awesome. I am trying to purchase a low profile jack and went to Costco looking for the low profile jack i have heard so much about and after visiting 3 Costcos Here in Phoeinix, I cannot find one. Are these no longer for sale by Costco. any recommendations on a good low profile jack and a good price? Thanks for the help.

I've got 2 Harbor freight 3 ton low pro jacks. Usually on sale about $180 but if you only lift the Vette you can get the cheaper 1.5 or 2 ton.

i have the t-handle one from harbor freight and it's good. The only thing i don't like is that you can't put a cross beam on it cause the hole when you take the cradle off is too shallow. I'm going to try using a 2x6 or 2x4 as a cross beam, should work... no need to buy one of those $3-$400 ones unless you're really going to do major work on the car....

I also have one from Harbor Freight for switching to track tires, and works pretty good. Also have a BMW lifting puck for the chassis lifting spot. Do have a couple small AC/Delco scissor jacks I take along to track, that work ok, and take the same 3/4" 19 mm wrench as the wheel lugs.

I just bought one at harbor frieght on sale for 79.00. It's a 2.5 ton low profile that regularly sells for 140.00. You can go to their website and look at model #68049. If you get auto week mag there is a coupon for 69.00 for it. That's the cheapest that I ever saw it. It's lower profile than the one pictured above.

If I remember correctly the Harbor Freight 2 ton long reach low profile jack is #68050. The so-called regular price is $159.99, and with coupons goes as low as $109.99.

I am a big fan of Harbor Freight. This is their 3 ton aluminum racing jack. It fits under my lowered ZR1 easily with room for the pucks. And, if you ordered the proper color car and calipers, it is perfectly color coordinated.

Harbor Freight rocks....was just at one this weekend and picked up a DA buffer, some impact wrench sockets, etc.

While there I checked out all their jacks and they look well built. I purchased the low profile steel jack as a Christmas gift two years ago for my son to use on his 4th Gen TA and he loves it

They also have some nice wheel chocks and jack stands at good prices.

The Costco's in my area still carry the jacks. Just two weeks ago I bought their Arcan 3.25 ton low profile Jack.

You can usually print it out over the internet on their website, I bought mine from HF about a year ago, paid about $60 on sale and for $10 more I got an extended warranty, I had two from Auto Barn and one from Sears go bad. So far so good with the HF unit, good luck!

I use the Costco one - Works great.
Can't beat it for $99, and if it ever fails, you can return it.
