Default Getting new wheels, Do i need new sensors?

Can i use the sensors out of my old OEM wheels or do i need new ones? If so where is the best place to purchase them?

Yes, use the ones you have.

How old are they. They last 7-10 years

Agree, except if your current ones are >7 years old then, if it were me, I'd put new ones in. Just a suggestion.

partstaxi.com or gmpartshouse.com are our vendors.

Some have found them on ebay for less.

And then there's this non OEM option but haven't heard anything about them other than this post. If interested you could always contact Top Fuel and ask him:

just be sure you get the ones for your car. i'm listing the part number and color for the different years....

•2005-2009 require a TPMS tool; they use a gray sensor GM part# 25758220

•2010 and 2011 built up through Dec 2010 don't need a tool; their OE sensors are green and GM part# 15268606

•Cars built since Jan2011 require a tool; their OE sensor is black and GM part# 20925924

If you do reuse the sensors, be sure to mark which wheel they come out of (i.e. left, right; front, back) & make sure they go in the same position in the new wheels. That way you won't have to worry about reprogramming.
