I have the headlight pieces and fender pieces in a trash bag in the garage. I would like the hood if they'd give it to me.

Doesn't appear they plan to replace the hood. Indicates "RPR" which is "Repair" and 2.0 hours to do it

That sucks! I'm sorry for your troubles. At least you're ok. Hope you have her back in action and fixed soon.

That really sucks. We have alot of deer around here and i see the remenants of them on the side of the road all the time from tangling with cars. I fear one day it will be my unfortunate day as well.

Deja vu. Your damage is very similar to mine a few weeks ago.

Bill, that is an absolute bummer man. As others have said, thank God you walked away safe and sound. She'll be good as new before you know it.

I don't understand the 427 x 2. did the deer take them off too? Or a big two legged deer remove them?

I'm guessing since a new hood will be installed, new emblems will go on as well. Once you peel off the old ones, the rubber sticky backs lose their grip.

I hit a deer doing 85 MPH with my C5 some years ago. It needed a 3/4 nose and cost $6,500 to repair but it was as good as new after the repair. We were lucky that the deer's momentum carried it left to right or we might have been killed or injured if it had slid up the hood.

Good luck with your repair. Find a good body shop that knows how to repair Corvettes.
