Default Rt Front signal light burnt out

My signal blinker for right front is out, need advice on replacing bulb, so I come to the experts that have done it, and already made there mistakes.
Also without looking at the manual, what bulb number I need, PLZ.
So any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Well looks like nobody has done it, well I can tell you I just ordered the bulb from Bennett Auto, cause they had to special order. The cost $5.50, cheap.

That doesn't sound right. I am on a business trip or I would look it up for you. Sounds to me like you have the whole light assembly ordered. Check the operators manual.

Really! the front turn signals are part of the DRL's it is at worst a $5-10 bulb. It is a 3157. It takes less that 5 minutes to changes if you turn your front wheel to access the cover that conceals the headlight housing assembly. If you look in the front of the wheel well you will see a cover with 6 what look like rivets. gently pop the heads out with a thin blade screw driver and pull them out the DRL socket is right there. A quarter turn and the socket comes out. If you need more info PM me.

It is the housing on the right.

You dont even need to pull all the pins out. The cover is made of rubber and bends real easy after pulling out a couple of the pins.

Rut-Ro . . . . .that doesn't sound like a turn signal bulb price at all - WAYYYYYYYYYY too expensive. IMHO you might wan to cancel that order immediately before they get it in and then you have to pay a restocking fee. Sounds like the price for an entire headlamp assembly

The DRL/Turn Signal is the furthest outboard light.

This pic is the HID Low Beam.

So today, was bored so decided to replace the turn signal bulb. So I turn the wheel, removed three fasteners and my fingers didn't have enough power to remove the socket. So I did the first best thing that came to mind. I straight out the wheel, and just jacked the front up, not enough to break the wheel off the ground. Now it was easy to get the socket out, and replaced bulb.
Here picture shows you how much room you have to work with, piece a cake.

I was doing the change today, I have a feeling that there is something wrong with the socket as after installing the socket back in the bulb fell out

Anybody have any ideas how I can get the bulb out? Also, is it difficult to push the new bulb into the socket, I am sure I pushed it pretty hard. I even tried with another bulb and after installing it has stopped working too.

make sure the ignition is off. use some pliers to pull to socket, you may need to use it to twist it back on. carefully pull the light bulb out, I would suggest gloves in case the glass breaks I push hard & straight to install bulb, it has to snap in. when i installed my led bulbs they were tough to get in. the bulb should be a 3157a (amber). the easiest way is to pull the tire so you can look inside.

Do they make LED DRL's? They would last longer and drain less. But would there be a poblem of hyperflashing?

good suggestion about the gloves - I struggled so much yesterday but today used leather gloves and it snapped in within two seconds

Yes to both they do make and many of the forum vendors sell LED DRL's I have them on mine with resistors to take care of the hyper flash.

I have found that the cheap LED's don't work quite right but that's another discussion.

The socket on the right in the picture above takes a quarter tun to remove. The 3157 bulb if it is an LED only goes in 1 way if reversed it does not wok properly.
