Does anyone have the service details for headlight level...as in distance from a wall & where (low/high) the low beams should be focused?
I lowered my '12 GS & needed to raise the light beam slightly, so I'd like to check to see they're at the correct height.

If I needed to check, I'd probably try to get several fairly new, unmodified, C6's together in a very flat parking lot where we could aim the headlights at a plain wall. Do a comparison, switch the positions around, and check them again. Then go drive it and fine tune over several nights.

I have 6k lumens low beams, same for fog lights with the balasts, and switch backs. Never even once had anyone flash my lights. At night, with the lows, swichbacks, and fogs, I have 6 white lights showing. Never a problem.

Jim is correct that the full procedure in the manual reads like a moon shot checklist but here is an executive summary:
Note that everone will say that the car needs to be level but actually you only need to ensure that tthe slope from the back wheels to the wall is constant. You can do this by driving up to the wall after the adjustment and checking that the light position goes in a smooth change from the +/- 2" down to zero.
- Full tank of gas.
- 25 feet from the wall and rock car to settle suspension.
- Mark a horizontal line on wall the same height as headlights.
- Block light from one headlight without covering lense (heat).
- Top edge of light should be between 2" above and 2.5" below line.

Thanks guys...just what I needed. I also like the post from the other thread about parking parallel next to a long wall (cinder block wall preferred) & aiming the low beam to just below horizontal...makes sense to me.
