Vacuum review
I purchased a Rigid wet/dry vacuum from Home Depot. It was 79.00 on sale.I had a gift card that helped a little. This unit was 4 gallons and 5 hp.The hp was what i was mostly concerned with. Let me just say that this unit performed like if not better than the ones at the gas station or car washes.I detail cars from time to time and i was very impressed with its power.I had a craftsman for a long time.I looked at a few different units and brands and figures since i had the gift card to find the best i could get at the home depot..I am very happy i made the choice .I hope this helps someone here is a picture

I'm a big proponent of owning the most powerful shop vac you can find. I have one of those R2D2 looking 6.5HP jobs with a nice long extension hose in a cubby right next to the Vette in the garage. That extra power really makes a big difference.
I'm not good at writing through reviews, so I'll keep mine short: "It sucks!"

I have that same wet/dry vac. I love it. It picks up stuff very well. I used it as a blower to dry the car, too, but eventually got a dedicated leaf blower for that.

I have a similar Craftsmen shop vac, and does have some power. Kinda bulky though, and use a Hoover Porta Power for vacuuming cars. Good power and also a blower. On advertised hp. Realize, the most actual continuous hp you can possibly get out of a 115v line feed, is maybe 1.5. No idea where these manufactures come up with these numbers.
