I'm trying to find out if i order the ebrake and boot with red stitching, if the red stitching is only on the boot, or the handle as well???? So those of you with any color stitching from GM, does your ebrake handle have the stitching as well, or is it just the boot?? Thanks guys.

I can't tell from the photo I have of my interior and the car is at home. Looks like it is just the boot, but I could be wrong.



I found this photo on google and it does show stitching, but not sure if this is aftermarket or not. EDIT: This IS aftermarket. Stock e-brake handle does not come stitched.

The handle is not available with color stitching at all.

Thanks RnG, i'm not sure about the one with the colored stitching, maybe aftermarket? it's about a $75 difference so i'm not going to buy the whole assembly unless i know for sure it has the stitching on the handle....

I ordered just the boot now that I know the handle doesn't have the stitch, came out to $45 with shipping instead of $120, thanks guys!!

I hated no stitching on the handle. So got one with the blue stitching from Apsis and will be installing this week.

i may go aftermarket as well in the future. I'm sure the red stitch will be close enough to not tell the difference from just one part.....

My 2012 centennial edition came with red stitching on the boot and not on the handle.

Jersey at apsis came very very close with the color match. I chose the v-shaped pattern like on the OEM shift ****. So there is some color and even if not dead on is minimalist in the pattern so it would not stand out.

Check out Apsis' website. DSV and Caravaggio do excellent work as well.

I just don't know why GM decided to not stitch that part. I'll ask Harlen at Carlisle this year.

Why not just order both handles (shifter and e-brake) and both boots with red stitching from DS Vettes?

Price I know the quality is a world of difference, but i chose my poison and i chose to spend more money on other mods and less on these......

PS I do like the GM ones just fine

My Centennial 2012 GS 3LT does not, though it had suede surrounding the handle. There is stitching on the suede boot of the handle however.

I confirmed that my e-brake does NOT have any colored stitching and I have a 4LT. The boot yes, the handle--no. My manual shifter has red stitching on the handle and the boot.
