Default C6 Invades Italy

This weekend I ventured out on a road trip from Schweinfurt, Germany to the Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Maserati factories. I took a tour of the Lamborghini and Ferrari factories and visited their museums too. It was only able to peek into the gates of the Maserati factory but they had a bunch of cars in the Maserati store. It was one hell of a weekend and a dream that finally came true.

Wow........ Great stuff.....!! Thanks for sharing and congrats to you for a dream come true. Reminds me of the youtube video.. Epic Drive with Angus MacKenzie and Justin Bell in their ZR1 where they cross into Italy and the Ferrari factory after driving the Autobahn.

That's an awesome video. I'm going to drive the Stelvio Pass on the way home. I will video tape it and post it when I get back home!

I'll see your Maggiano's and raise you..... Olive Garden. For a true taste of Italy, you can't beat the Olive Garden.

Anyway, great pics, and congrats on scratching another wish off your bucket list. The rest of us over here in the States can only live vicariously through you at this moment.

Looks like a nice trip.......

You've missed the Corvette & Camaro International meeting at Peschiera Del Garda by two weeks. Also we visited Autodromo Modena race track. Less than 30-50 Km from the fancy dealers you've mentioned.

Check out Corvette Italia Facebook.

I traveled from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Garda Lake - 800-plus Km one way.

That is awesome. My wife and I are going on a Med cruise this summer and it will not allow me to visit Marenello. I was trying to figure out something that would get me there. I have often thought of shipping the vert over and driving it through Europe, then sell it and get a new one when I return home. Oh well maybe someday

A lot less than what I had expected. It gets a better response in Germany.
