I appreciate all the comments / opinions. I had thought of how dusty they might get but since I already wash the car every other day, the wheels are just part of the equation. Next summer it will only be driven on nice weekends due to a longer commute

I am still strongly considering it since I personally like the look, but does anyone have any other ideas that would be different? I see the standard black or grey or chrome wheels all over the place... even though I do like those options too.

If you are just looking to do something different, have you consider bronze wheels?

It's a common color combination for imports (Blue with bronze wheels) .... but I haven't seen it on a Corvette.

IMO - bronze wheels wouldn't be as controversial as white wheels on a blue car ..... and it would be different (different for a corvette).

Edit: I did find "one" picture of a JSB with bronze wheels

I have always felt chrome wheels make the JSB a beautiful site. They really compliment each other. Especially with red calipers. Not a fan of the white wheels.

Frankly, I am tired of the drab (but still gorgeous) greyscale

Thanks again for all opinions, both positive and negative!! At least there are some supporters - I may have changed my mind if every comment was hating

It's not bad.

Well, the C2 and C4 grand sports were blue with white stripes (and red interior, I think). But they had silver wheels.

Go for it. You can always have them painted black if you get tired of it.

Perfectly acceptable in Miami or Cuba. The white shoes and belt will get you an old fashioned beat-down in my welfare state.

I own a 2010 JSB Coupe. I say if its YOUR car, YOU get what YOU want. My opinion is a big fat no. With that being said, I did recently get my double spokes powder coated black. I Love em', many hate em'. I'm happy as sugar with my wheels. So, if white wheels make you happy... do it. But I'm not liking that color.

I'm a no, the only time I've seen white rims have been under a cheap boat or horse trailer.

IMO, colored rims don't really belong on american muscle cars (except black or gray). I think foreign tuners, mostly Japanese, but even some Porsches look good with colored wheels.

IMO all colored wheels white, black or whatever fall into this category.

So even stock silver too? Silver is a color.

Plasti Dip them in white first and finish it off with a gloss.
