Attaching Logo to headrest ?
Has anyone tried attaching the "Flag Logos" to the headrest using some sort of glue adhesive ? maybe an epoxy or fabric glue ? just curious.

no. I had posed this question some time back. Finally decided to have them done professionally, by Speed Lingerie out of San Francisco.
They have vendors licensed to embroider the logos onto head rest covers back east. (There is a problem with licensing so many vendors can't do it)...The covers are $259.00 app $90.00 for the embroidery work and back to them for fit and then to you. Turn around time 4-5wks. Mine are for a 2005 C6 Hopefully they'll be here soon. They will not fit all years so best to call them if you don't have a problem spending the cash.
another forum member, "Don Vette" has them on his C6 and they look awesome. check out his ride!! He told me about Speed lingerie. The guy to talk with is Richard. Nice guy and very helpful!!

Why spend all that money on a head rest cover ?? Just go to GM parts mart and buy the upper seat cover with the proper logo and replace your old one with this one. It is a OEM replacement. That's what I did and it looks great.

A local embroiderer might do it if they aren't too worried about licensing. Had a similar issue with jacket I was having made. They were a bit apprehensive but 'might' do some. I ended up buying licensed patches and used those. I'm much happier with the look of patches rather than chenille. You could order some patches and have them sewn to the headrests. I think this would look good.

I have looked at this from every
angle. Buy the bolsters from
GM. No other way to be OEM.
Imagine glue or needles on
your leather.
One of my tries.
Sell em to ya...

in 2002 i crazy glued the "last of the breed" emblems on my WS6 trans-am headrests. They came out perfect and did not look out of place. If the emblem contours the headrest without any gaps crazy glue or gorilla glue would work fine, and last. Just make sure you measure exactly cause once you glue it cant be moved without residue on permanently, and make sure you dont put too much glue so when you press it comes out the sides of the emblem caue you wont be able to get it off....

I put some stitched patches on mine with super glue in 2008 and I have never had any problems, they look factory, just don't use so much glue it squeezes out onto the seat but enough to coat the entire patch make sure they are centerd on the head rest..only one chance to get it right.....
