Yes. Escort Passport 8500 X50 is a great detector. Although it is the older model from Escort, It has the same detection capability and distance as the newer 9500 series detectors. The newer ones just have added widgets like GPS, red light camera database, and Android phone link.
I use an X50 in my Z06. Have had one for years and never gotten stopped while using it.
