Yup, it'll work on a Vette.

I got the one below. It's a bit heavier as it is steel, but it's got a little better reach and a little beefier.

I have the steel low profile one also and it works great. This one has the foot pedal if you are too close to a wall to use the handle. HF has a 20% off coupon good on any purchase through the 23rd of June I believe.

I was recently in the market for a low pro jack too. I ended up going with a Napa Professional which I highly recommend. I find Napa's tools slot in nicely between the cheap Chinese crap of Craftsman and HF but not as pricey as Snap-On/Matco/Cornwell stuff.
Might want to check it out at your local NAPA. They've started selling a whole line of good hand tools.

Just be aware that the guys saying it works great and fits perfectly are not filling you in about the reach of the jack. While being good for the side lifting it is shorter than the 68050 like I have and you will not be able to leave the handle upright with the jack under the car. Some may say who cares, but if you do most of your lifting in a smaller type garage then it is a big deal. I couldn't use the lower reaching ones in my garage because I need the handle to be upright so I can jack it up and work around it without it in the way..... Just something to consider

Sorry about that, have to learn to read the fine print. I printed for the crossbeam also.

To the OP, I would at least get the jack that has two wheels on the front end instead of that roller. It is much more stable. I was forced to use mine on a slight incline and the entire jack began to fold up.
