Ok so hear is the problem that I need help with. In Jan of this year I suffered a stroke. Amongst other things I still suffer from a loss of balance, not while driving though .My AO C6 A6 now feels loose at speed (120 klm 70 mph) Tire pressure and tire tread and tire wear are all good. While I don’t like the looks of a splitter do you think this would help plant the font on the ground? I don’t like the feel of my car anymore! It might be in my heed (another side effect?)I am even thinking if I can’t fix it of selling with 94000klm (53000 miles will I see $ 32000 for her bone stock 4 lt roof nav DVD etc. Thanks

Sorry to hear of your aneurysm. Without driving the car, tough to say if there's a fix or it's a vertigo type of situation.

I also sorry to hear of your stroke. I am not an expert by any means and I am not sure of what you mean by feeling "loose" but assuming you mean that it just feels unstable at 70+ MPH. My guess would be that a splitter is not going to solve your problem. My car is also an '07, does not have any special splitter and I do not feel as though the car is feeling "loose" at that speed or higher on "normal" roads. You might want to check out other potential mechanical issues. You know the feel of your car better than anyone else and if it did not give you that loose feeling before it is either mechanically related or your recent stroke. That is just my opinion.

I'd look at other things first such as suspension parts, current front air dam condition, etc. CAn't imagine why car would feel that way at only 70 mph.

As to potential sale price, it's a little early to be going that route, but since you're in Canada, prices are higher than stateside. Not sure what year your car is, but a 4LT (has to be at least '08) w. nav, should net you that much.

One suggestion is to let a Corvette tech from a dealer, or indie shop drive it with you next to him. They should have experience of more Corvettes driven and be able to tell you as well what to look at re possible source, if any.

Isn't this a duplicate or nearly duplicate thread? Again, sorry for your medical issues. A front splitter won't hurt, but unless you normally drive at 120+ mph, it won't affect the dynamics of driving too much. Sounds more like a vertigo symptom than a problem with the Corvette. Then again, without driving it, hard to say.

Recommend you have another Corvette owner drive your car first. I suspect there is someone else local you can find on CF. Get another opinion on the handling of your car before you start replacing parts.

The suspension on these cars are pretty hardy, and you don't hear of too many C6 owners having to replace components on street driven corvettes.

Took the car to my Chevy dealer and got a mind blowing yup "might be something ,might not be" had the car aligned to factory spec and noticed nothing different
