Default Clutch engagement and pedal travel

I have a 2011 base C-6 with a manual transmission. The car runs great but I got to wondering about the clutch pedal travel and where the clutch engages. The clutch engages at the very top of the pedal travel where my foot is almost off the pedal. Is this how they all are or does it need some sort of adjustment? The clutch does seems to fully engage/disengage.

I own a '13 GS M6.

The clutch hits the friction point about 1/3 to 1/2 the way up.

No clutch should engage at the maximum point in it's travel.

I'd say it needs to be adjusted.

I own a 2007 M6 Z51. Mine also engages at the top. I'm not sure if there is an 'adjustment' for this... I think when the clutch is shot, it will just stop fully disengaging and it will be time for a new one. I've got 36000 miles but I treat the clutch very nicely. no riding... burnouts... etc..

Same issue here on my 09 I just got 3 weeks ago. Seems like the only useful part the the clutch is the last 25% of the clutch pedal being fully out. Is this the norm for corvette 6 speed manuals? Can it be adjusted. OR is there a way to limit the clutch pedal movement to add a stop so the pedal does not get pushed all the way to the floor?
Thanks

usually, it's not normal unless there is significant wear on the clutch. I thought I read that there is a vendor on here who makes an adjustable clutch master cylinder. I did, and it's a former vendor, tick performance.

You can read thru this thread to see/explain why it's needed if you want adjustments by richierichZ06.
