Default I am Doug Jones, and I support Tim Boone's Message

I also have about 500hp 1970 C10. I know it is not a Corvette, but it is still a Chevrolet and in the 500hp club. Loud as hell and fun to drive with a massive cam. LOL!

I, Doug Jones, approve of this message, and anyone's decision to get a 427 Vert. This was paid for by the coalition to "Haul ***"

It is somewhere near Wellsville, on 417, or Corning up towards Bath?

Very happy with mine as well.

I like how you filled in the side markers and got rid of the vent windows on the C-10.

LMAO! That is actually my wife and she was getting some sun. It does look like a guy though in the picture. Stupid camera angles.

I took the badges off. It just didn't look right for me.

You can say that again. You can sell it for more than you bought it for.

LOL! That advertising on the windshield usually pays for my events that I attend. So it is all worth it.

Like yourself I'm also loving my 427 Convertible. In the circle of life, my first vette was a '67 convertible that was white with a blue interior, but it was a 327. I've had many since then, and I've enjoyed every one of them, and of them all this is my favorite.

I am wondering if I will like my C7 just as much as my 427. Only time will tell.

I plan to buy a 427 convertible someday. When I do get one, I don't plan to ever get rid of it. The C7 is going to have to be VERY good to pry a 427 out of my hands.

Well we know already, it will not be more powerful as your current 427, unless you are waiting for the Z06 or ZR1 version. Are you buying another vert? What options did you add on, and what color combination, if you don't mind saying?

Last edited by Kingspoke; 06-24-2013 at 10:26 PM. Reason: color combination

I love mine too! It is my first Corvette and what a doozie! My 13 year old son and I just giggle every time we open it up, look at each other and say " I can't believe they let my buy this car"

I am going to go with a coupe and do white on white. Either that or I may wait for the Z06. I did order the SS sedan though in white.

Muscle Car Maniac!

It'll be interesting what the Z06 & ZR1 look like in the C7 platform.

Thank you. I actually just bought nitrous for my truck. I'm thinking of moving my vehicles to the 600hp club instead of 500. LOL!
