If you want a bra then I would go with a Speed Lingerie bra. A regular bra will stick out unless you have a black Vette. Or find a good clear bra installer.

Mine is 8 years old I leave it on 24/7 when I wash car and through storms. Clean and remove it at least once a year or as required. It pays for itself if you keep car awhile or you need protection for front end side lights, fog lights and radiator.

Installed myself
I bought one of those 3M clear plastic ones on ebay and put it on myself. It cost about $50 total and is precut even around the emblem. Half way through I probably would have paid someone a few hundred dollars to finish it but I pushed on. It took about 4 hours I think. If you get this type be sure it has adhesive on the back. I bought other ones that were not adhesive and they are crap. I'm looking for a new one now. This one lasted about 100K miles and has protected the paint from two hits on curbs and many rocks. On my next one I'm also going to put them in the wheel well beind the tires.

Safety Car
I have the stretch bra and love it. Mine has the big gaping mouth on it because if they're solid and get wet, they keep the air from getting in and the cars overheat. Easy on, easy off, and takes up just inches of storage space.

Another point the SLB is very thick. A woman left her door hanging on SLB on front nose on side of car.
Luckily because of the thickness of the SLB the weight and impact of door didn't penetrate SLB and into the body. I don't think a clear bra offers that kind of protection because it's thin.

I would have went with Speed Lingerie bra for my 60th Anniversary GS but it would have cost another $180 to sew stripes on the front. Resale value is not that great also (1/3rd after two years).

Melting Slicks
I had the SL leather bra( they do give total protection)...but it was a PITA to put on and off..just my .02, the stretch ones are really easy and stop most anything bouncing off the front of the car...

I had the full vinyl bra for my GS and when I put in the billet grill the bra was a headache to put on so I bought a stretch bra and love it.

If you want great protection and ease of installation, get the GM bra. By far the best bang for the buck. I have used one for years and don't have a chip.
