Recently acquired a pretty rare one. Picking it up later this week. 2012 GS,CE,4LT, Callaway, 6 speed. 4k miles. Giving up a very nice '09 Z06 but the Callaway is much more rare.

The car is in near perfect condition, I have always wanted a Callaway car and just missed a nice red one a few weeks ago. So when I found this one I couldn't pass up such a nice example.

Just in case GS owners aren't aware there is a Grand Sport Registry that you can join, it has good GS info and events. We're doing a Dragon Run the middle of May that should be lots of fun. Just in case I'm stepping on toes here I'll not post the link, just google it you'll find it.
Well, I'm finally picking up a CE. Just closed a deal for a CE GS, 4LT Coupe with both roofs, stick, and 9600 miles. It's gonna be good to be back in a black GS B-)
I just picked this up in TX a few days ago. I thought I was going there to pick up a black 2012 coupe, black interior, and 3LT. When I got there, I saw it was a CE, and could not believe my good fortune. Though it had 58K miles on it, it is in great condition, nice paint, and non-modded. I drove home to Vegas in a day and a half, logging just over 900 comfortable, enjoyable miles the second day.
I have added blackout tails, and will be adding a Vararam intake, and full Z06 exhaust. No other mods planned, and I hope to keep it a long time.
Bought my 2012 GS CE M6 around Thanksgiving from a forum member. Car has 18,000 miles and I'm loving what little bit of driving I've gotten to do in it so far. When I began my Corvette search, I wouldn't have guessed I'd be driving a CE, but the car is beautiful and gets a lot of attention.
That article indicates that 65% of all 2012 Vettes selected the A6 option. However, since the A6 was not available in either the Z06, or the ZR1, those models have to be subtracted from the total vehicle count, and the resulting number used for determining the actual %. The actual selection of the A6 option, on all vehicles for which it could be selected, was 70.5%.
So here are the approximate numbers of A6/M6 for each sub-model
Base Cpe 1898/922 67.3% A6
GS Cpe 3428/1628 67.8% A6
Base 'vert 528/93 85.0% A6
GS 'vert 1732/2268 76.4% A6
Multiplying total CE sub-model production by the above % for each gives us: (forum layout does not favor using columns).
Base Cpe CE A6... 116. M6.....66
GS Cpe 705 335
Base 'vert 51 9
GS 'vert 403 125
Obviously, if you own a CE edition Base with an M6, you have a very rare car.

- The 2012 brochure says that the Centennial package comes with black wheels. I see a lot of those cars with chrome wheels. Was that an option in the package or were they aftermarket add ons?
- .I'm looking to buy a Centennial Grand Sport convertible 4LT with hopefully an automatic and under 10,000 miles... any sellers out there?
