I liked the C6 because it was a little smaller than the C5, then everything started going wide body. Go figure. If you have a C5 that is that nice and low miles I'd get some use out of it first. All Corvettes are classics the day they leave the assembly line.

I drove both and they felt the same to me. The interior is way better in the 08 that I drove. The exterior styling is a personal opinion. I prefer the C5 to the base C6. I'd still choose the 08+ based on the interior and newer features such as factory HID etc.

I had two C5's and four C6's. Do I like the C6 better, sure, but the C5's weren't bad either. As one of my friends says, "It's in the eyes of the beholder" which one is better.

You are asking US to tell YOU what you like (appreciate)?
That is like asking my wife to taste my food and tell if I like it.

I love my new C6 but to me the C5 is every bit as good looking, maybe even more so. The front of the C5 is just awesome and is the best part of the car IMHO. The longer body also just works really well to me, it just flows beautifully.
The C5 debuted 16 yrs ago and still looks fresh and contemporary to me. The only exception may be the hideaway lights, which are now kind of retro but still look so cool.

I had a yellow C5 for over ten years and still like the looks. You can add a black nose bra, like I did, which makes the car look shorter and add paint or a vinyl sticker to the rear end to make the rear end look a little less massive. I had an auto in the C5 and when I tested a 2012 with paddle shift I was not all that impressed with the difference esp. when I considered the amount I would have to pay. The stick is a different story. Both cars will easily exceed anything you can do on public roads within the law.
