Sounds great, and welcome to the brotherhood! Don't forget to wave to fellow 'Vettes.

Between Tommy Jr. And Mike, I think they have the market locked down with such outstanding service and catering.

I found out about this "oven" myself when I grabbed some change from there.... the coins literally burned my hand!
This is questionable. I love the C6 more than most, but the C2 Stingrays are... breathtaking.

No question.
It's a biased owner's opinion....
The 63 split is indeed breathtaking too.

I agree. My dream when I was younger would be a '66 black/black 427 'Vert with a white top.

I think secretly every Corvette enthusiast's nocturnal emission is the original Sting Ray. I passed one on the way home from work. I caught his eye and gave him a wave. That was before I remembered I was in my Acura...

Ah ah! Funny coincidence. On my way to work today I passed a beautiful white C6 coming into my neighborhood and was about to wave, until I realized I wasn't in mine....

Ha! It always seems that I see more Corvettes when I'm not in mine. I think we've all done it, so we know. I have had more than a few non-vettes wave at me when I was driving mine.

To the original poster, CSF, what you experienced is the way Tommy is and how he treats his customers. We made a deal with a trade in and the cash outlay over the phone and e-mails. My wife and I drove up there and combined the purchase with a fall leaf peeping vacation in NH. He never tried to make any changes and kept his word on the deal. I bought my GS in Oct. of 2011 and had a hard time deciding on the color. Tommy had my 3 color choices placed next to each other and I spent almost a half hour deciding while he and my wife chatted at his desk, I made my decision and the deal was done in an hour. I've since talked to him via e-mail and he always promptly answers. I look forward to dealing with him again.

Wow. THANKS for all the nice replies.

I bought a Blade Silver Coupe, 6-speed manual, with the Ebony (all black) interior, 3LT, with magnetic ride, dual roof, performance exhaust, chrome GS wheels, battery protection and logos in the headrests.

I had originally planned on a convertible but then switched to a coupe. I picked a white anniversary coupe with the 4LT blue interior but without the racing stripe package. Than I started to think about a Crystal Red coupe with a tan interior. Than I decided to go with the most basic combination, silver and black interior. Honestly, I would have been happy with any of them.

Sorry, but didn't even think about posting a photo. But here it is, outside MacMulkin, with 3 miles on the odometer.

Thanks again for all the replies.

Craig

I really do not know how Tommy Jr. keeps up with all that he does. My transaction with him was flawless. Congrats on your new car!

I also picked the same combination you bought except mine has an A6 and stock exhaust. I went up with the intentions of buying a supersonic blue convertible and decided we really needed a coupe for our traveling. After he put a black diamond, a supersonic blue and the blade silver coupes next to each other; I thought the silver was the nicest looking and bought it. That was 18 months ago and to this day I am still tickled with my choice of silver I really love this car over my past ones.
Congrads and good luck with yours. Now get some front splash guards and black side skirts on it to protect it from chips

Silver is a great color. It doesn't pop in photos like some other colors, but it looks great in person. And it doesn't show dirt badly.

Like I said, you are going to love it. I drive mine every chance I get. Sometimes I go out to the garage and just look at it!
