Had them some years back on a Mustang GT. with Kooks LT headers & X pipe. Absolutely awesome sound with little to no drone whatsoever. I'll be going with that same setup again on my C6 hopefully some time this year. If you go to Borla's website you can hear 3 different C6's with all 3 of their systems on them on a track.

I seen them advertised for about $1200. Does that seem like a good deal?

Here is a video from inside my car at the wanna go fast event. Borla S-Type, AKA Borla Stingers. I love the sound and so does my wife. Its def on the aggressive side.
No drone at cruising speeds on the highway.

Randy, remember, exhale and squeeze (don't pull) the trigger. Look forward to hearing the new sound. Finally, this nice weather has many of us squeezing the upgrade triggers. Garret's white C-7 trigger may require an exceptionally strong pull though.

The S Type II sounds almost identical to the GM NPP system but its a bit louder. Somehow these mufflers have some kind of active baffle in them. When you first start the car the bark is enormous similar to the NPP system. As long as you are pushing the accelerator like the NPP the tone is fairly loud but with NO Drone at any RPM. Once you lift your foot off the gas the whole system goes INSTANTLY Quiet to almost the same cabin tone as the stock system. Hit the gas again and WHAM they come to life with a vengeance, once again lift off the gas and you would think you were in a public library. Borla figured out a way to do NPP without the vacuum stuff and the swing doors. I would buy it again and again its the best sounding and non sounding system out there.

We have them on our coupe. I think the best part is when my wife comes home from work and stops at the stop sign on the corner....I know she's home because the whole house has this down low rumble, it just sounds awesome, not loud, just that "don't mess with me" sound that you feel as much as hear. We did a 4K road trip last fall, no drone or objectionable noise, highly recommended!
