Default Take a step back and enjoy.

As I sit here in the garage reading my book and enjoying my beer, it occurred to me how often I wish for better circumstances. Then I realized...

This is my view from where I'm sitting and I'm damn lucky. Puts things into perspective. Life is pretty good. Enjoy it and never take anything for granted.

It IS easy to lose track of the important things in our lives (people, family, friends, etc.), and then focus on the additional things that just embellish our existence (Corvettes and ****), but that aren't nearly as important as the "real" stuff.

Thanks for the reminder!

We are lucky just to be able to live in this great country. No matter how much the world may say bad things about it they would move to the USA in a heartbeat.

As a painter, I quickly titled your photo "Corvette Still Life".

My work-out treadmill is in the garage, allowing me to stare at my Corvette for 30 minutes a day (when not watching the garage TV). I read in the house, as I'd find the Corvette too distracting. I've never been able to mix beer and books, lol.

Lastly, gratitude is everything. It's a great remedy for negative thoughts!
