Default Joe drove 500 miles for his new 2013 ZR1/cool delivery pics

Two months ago the Corvette Club of Buffalo visited the Wash DC area and made a point of making an appt for a tour of Criswell Chevrolet. They stayed two hrs and we had a blast. This past week Joe T from Niagara Falls (member of that Corvette Club) and I got together over the phone and made a deal to trade in his 2011 ZR1 for a 2013 ZR1. Joe is a super guy and I wished he lived closer then 500 miles away, he would be a welcome addition to my local Corvette Club.

Taking the plates off the '11 for the '13.

...and this past week the Embassy of Bahrain picked up a 2013 60th Anniv ZR1!!

and no, I didn't ship this to Bahrain.

No pictures of the Ambassador?

Does he get those plates that let him get out of speeding tickets?

OH MY!

Well, Mike is an official Ambassador to The National Corvette Museum, so you may correctly call him The Corvette Ambassador.

We all have on our bucket list to sit in Mike's office and overlook the launch pad outside his window every morning. Can't think of a better "job" to have. Mike should pay Mr. Criswell for Mike showing up to work ever day!

This is how business should be done, and how Corvette deliveries are to be done......including all of the original factory build sheets, with the factory sequence order number on the build sheet matching the printed number on the tire sidewalls.

I assumed that he did this trade because he was going to a different color.
