What about brake fluid? How often do you normally get that changed? Every x # of miles? Or do you get that done when you get your brake pads changed, etc?

There's profit driven then there's PROFIT DRIVEN!

There's a big difference between getting fair profit for work done and getting as much $$$ as possible from every client.

Common technique, but not universal:

Trackheads- before every event

Enthusiastic street drivers- every 2 years

Grocery getters- every 3 years

I get mine done once per year. No track use, but occasional heavy use in the mountains.

I've got 56000 miles on the C5 with original pads and 2piece drilled rotors and still good. Not much city but about 60 % highway cruise and the rest spirited 2 lane.
