I have a 100% no brake dust solution ..... Park the car in the garage and never drive it.

You obviously don't have a GS, Z06 or ZR1

I put the Hawk Ceramics on my '12 GS and after a month I am just now seeing some dust on the wheels.. Also they are completely silent. I am very happy with the pads.
Now I do have Comp Grey wheels that tend to not show the dust as much, so maybe that is a factor.
Also, even though everyone says it is a 15 minute job to swap the pads, I paid through the nose to have the dealer install them. While I've turned a wrench or two in my time I tend to leave safety stuff, like brakes, to the experts. Perhaps they did something I wouldn't know to do. Finally I took care to bed the pads per Hawk instructions.

I had the Hawk pads on for about a year and then they turned to crap! I put up with embarrassing squeal for over 3 years before I finally trashed them. I made the move to Carbotech and I clearly should have done it years ago.

I changed My 427 Vert to ceramic padlets from Orielly Auto Parts. I can wipe the wheels with a dry microfiber after driving and get almost no brake dust. The replacement process was a snap. Also, virtually no squeaking.

I replaced the factory pads at 4000 miles with Hawk ceramic single pads last Sept. 2000 miles later, yes there is still dust just not nearly as much, has a red tint so on black rims it stands out, not a peep out of them at all, and very good bite (I don't track it). I'm like the rest of you, I like it clean and presentable, but the Hawks do dust just nowhere near the factory pads. They were easy to change out and a good project to get some hands on. If they start squeeling though I won't hesitate to try Carbotech. They were back-ordered on the single piece when I replaced mine, so gave the Hawks a try.

Simple solution: Carbon Ceramic(ZR1) brakes.

Those things don't dust for anything it seems.

I wash my pads and calipers with the car . If the rotors are cold .... spray soap ..turn the wheel and rinse the black . Dust is good .... as the pad is soft enough to wear compared to rotors wearing . I'm sure if it rains heavy you may get a free wash .... not so much in southern California .

The cleaner you keep them, the easier they are to clean. No whining here!

My Hawk Pads have been on about 6k miles. I don't expect dust free pads, just didn't expect as much dust out of them after a highway drive. No doubt it is better then the factory pads. Our friends who went with us have a 12 GS with stock pads and the dust was incredible.

I'm new to this so I have to ask...

By ANY track use, does that include an occasional event like those weekend performance driving schools, i.e. The Drivers Edge, or do you refer to more like the racing track events?

Works very good, I used it for a long time. Recently changed my OEM pads to Akebono Premium Ceramic Pads, about $140 from Rock Auto. I don't track but do drive aggressively, no noticeable difference in stopping and best of all, no dust and no squeal! Just came back from 600 miles in PA., wheels were just as clean as when I left...rest of the car was bugged up though!

I completely agree. This stuff is awesome! I re-apply after every wash. Just make sure they are dry and cool before you spray them again.

I would not risk them on performance driving school. They are fine for auto x and drag strip.

Just heard from Hawk.
The general consensus seems to be that the drilled rotors act as a "cheese grader" and could certainly be the issue with what I see as excess dust.
I wasn't expecting no dust, just was surprised at how much.
