I have a C5 so it's weird to be posting over here, but I feel you guys can help me with my question.
I plan to install a C6 shifter in my C5 and I'm wanting a suede ****.
From what I understand I need a 08 & up shifter is that correct?
I did hear there might be a way to modify it?

I would think that you could get DSV to modify any C6 shifter to seude.

True but I think since GM makes one that would be a much cheaper option.

I believe you are correct as the suede **** was only introduced recently and the changed the screw that hold the **** in place 08-up.
