I may be wrong, and correct me if I am, but there is Jake and then there are the skulls that I see on a lot of cars. When it comes to Jake I normally don't see them in more then one or two places on a car, but with the skulls, I see them air brushed all over the engine bay area. these are in fact two different images.
I support Corvette Racing and there fore I have a Jake on my fuse box cover along with the Corvette Racing Logo, but that is it.
There is also another skull image I have seem that some may get confused with the Jake, but it has a more pronounced jaw/teeth area. I think that came out of the Fast and Furious group.

Saw a pic of a car with a Jake silhouette on a single taillight. That's tastefully done. Just seems like so many make a lifestyle decision when deciding on a Jake accessory. It's all or nothing, and I just don't get it.

I always get asked why I didn't do all 4. I think one is enough of a statement. I like the look of Jake but too much of something is overkill.

Possibly the Punisher skull?

Kadorja: That looks good. All four would be too much. I have one on an exhaust plate, but that's it. If I did something like that, I would remove my exhaust plate.

And who cares? There are a thousand gaudy and tacky mods for this car. If you don't like it, don't get it for yours. Haters gonna hate.
Yep !! same thing here, got ONE small jake on tbe back might be 2 inches tall if that, and its white , so against our VY, its not in your face. but...... when we are at Petit Le Mans in oct. I will be sporting and supporting jake on my hat.

I think that GM saw what Harley Davidson did with the Willie G skull and decided that "Jake" is simply a great marketing tool. Owning both an HD Road King Custome and a 10' GS, I have a hat. lol. Black with yellow Jake. I don't have any stickers on either vehicle.

I love the small (3") Jake sticker on my rear window, it shows props to the C6R team. To each their own, and it is easily removable if I ever change my mind. I am thinking about getting some of the Lloyd's mats with the Jake emblem as well...

I like my Jake chicklets. Small and unique mod that many never see.

No other Jake now that I removed a 3 in white Jake from the rear hatch window.

I have the CSC edition so it has a jake on the pillars, one on each headrest stitched in and one on the center console. I like them, but I have heard on more than one occasion someone referring to them as punisher emblems.

I hate how almost all the apparel for Corvette Racing has it, it just looks tacky especially when you look at what Porsche teams offer. Of course they have those awful dry sublimated team jerseys as well... They really need to get someone like Under Armour or Nike and offer good quality stuff.

I support the Vette racing team. I have an autographed Corvette Racing poster in my office. Even though I race my VY coupe I have no Jakes on my car nor will I. But then I have no Corvette t shirts, hats, jackets, or anything else either. Driving and racing the car is enough for me.

You don't have to be so sarcastic about it.

Tasteful ...or otherwise? You decide. It's the only one on the car. And I thought it was preferable to another set of crossed flags.

A single Jake accessory or emblem is okay. 15 of them in and on one car is overdone.

Floor mats inside, and exhaust plate.
I saw a VY vert at a car show this past weekend and it basically had one of everything(stickers everywhere!). None of them Jake either, just a lot of crap all over the car. Make me sick to see somebody do that to any Corvette.
Total lack of respect for the heritage if you ask me.
