Yep. Not sure if this will help but here's an article on the general differences between the 2.
So here's your choice. You can pay $179 or $119 for what is basically equal in its ability but has different quirks.

I agree with this article thus far as far as my comparison is going with these 2 models. I do notice now for sure that the traffic service is more receptive on the Tom Tom. The Garmin is constantly searching for traffic updates and will show nothing until it finds the signal. The Garmin does take you out of the way sometimes. The Tom Tom maybe more accurate but it isn't as user friendly as the Garmin. But thus far I am leaning towards the Tom Tom which would be my first unit with this company. I have already owned units from Garmin and Magellan.
