Default Low Beam Headlight T10 Torx Screw

I managed to drop one of these trying to install new bulbs. The dealer says they can't find one and don't have the dimensions... Very helpful. Does anybody know where to order this or at least the dimensions so I can scour the internet? I've got a bulb held on by one screw, waiting to swap in my 6000Ks until I find one in case I might lose another

Couldn't you take the remaining screw to the dealer or hardware store and see if they can match it? Or measure it yourself (length, diameter, thread pitch) and then check the internet?

Might want to pick up some spares when and if you find a match. And use a magnetic screwdriver.

Home depot no luck... Magnetic torx wrench definitely would have been clutch in this situation.

I did the same. Had to go to a hardware store and pick up a 4mm X 10mm length with a Phillips head. Thread pitch wasn't the same, so it cut new threads in the plastic as I screwed the bugger in. I glued it(using contact cement) to the tip of my screw driver so I wouldn't also drop it into the headlight housing. After insertion, the contact cement breaks loose easily.

Thanks for the lead... Robert said he has some extras and will send me some out! Didn't even ask for anything else in return. What a class act.

I wanted to let people know in the future that #4 x 3/8 screw will work as well. It was easier for me to find than a metric size. The screw went in easily and did not feel like it put new threads in the plastic.
