Pics of Painted A Pillars?
I recently acquired a JSB and am toying with putting JSB A pillars on it, but can't find any pics with body color A pillars other than black. I would also wonder if anyone happens to have a pic of their body color A pillars with the glass top on.
The previous owner put the carbon fiber trim piece that attaches to the A pillar on it. I'm thinking of putting that back on with the body color A pillar to make it a little different.
Thoughts?

I bought some in Victory Red. They came with peel and stick on tape. Worked well, looked good, but after time drying towel would get hung on the tips at the top. Then the tops came loose and that looked bad, so I pulled off. So, make sure you add some more tape to the tip of the pillar, so it stays securely attached.

I take it you have a jsb roof as well. I don't think it would look good with the transparent top. A friend has an inferno Orange coupe with the transparent top with the adhesive backed a pillar stick ons, and it looks nice, but they do tend to get caught on the tips with cleaning cloths.

I would only try the stick on type to see if you will like the 'A' pillars colored.
Then if you decide you like them, PAINT THEM, that's the only way to do it right.
You could even by an extra set so you can swap back it you change your mind.
Mine are painted black along with my 'C' pillar (halo).

Yeah I have the painted top that I think I will run the majority of the time, but was curious if I could stand the black (glass) top with a blue halo and 'A' pillars.
If I go the painted route, I'm going to get the whole 'A' pillar painted and possibly attach the carbon fiber trim piece to the lower section. My thinking is that little bit of carbon fiber there would help from the glasstop looking so out of place if I wanted it on there for awhile.

I've been thinking about these http://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1847. I have a torch red car with roof.

I have a JSB convertible but if I did have a coupe I would tend to go for the all black look and paint or CF the halo. Maybe if you post a picture someone with photoshop skills could chop in the painted a pillars to give you an idea how it would look.
This is not my car but I love the look.
