Black out but keep my chrome wheels?
After growing up in the 60s-70s I like my chrome wheels, but I like the blacked out sidemarkers and tail lights on a black car like mine. So what do you guys think about blacking her out and leaving chrome wheels on her. I'm just not into the black wheels.

I was considering doing the side markers on my black vette but I think the chrome rims already stand out and with everything else black I think they would be a little too overpowering for my taste (I have chromed 08 split spokes)

The black chrome looks good. I'm thinking just blacking out the side markers at this point. I just got my black license plate today. I didn't get a vanity plate because it would have been white with blue letters.

I'm a 60's guy too and I love my chromies. Had them on EVERY sports car I've owned. Until now. I have the brushed aluminum on my Cadillac, and sure don't have chromies on the Vette. BUT I still love them. I think it would look great with the chrome wheels. And to be honest, WHY ARE YOU ASKING EVERYONE ELSE? Do what YOU want to do and be happy. It's your car!!

If you are not into black wheels then keep the chrome or else you will be second guessing your decision to switch. I think the chrome looks good.

I like the black out look but this weekend cruising with the wife I noticed on other cars that it is really hard to see if the lights are on especially if the sun it hitting them.....I don't want to give any extra reasons to the already distracted drivers not to see my lights to avoid a collision, nor another reason to be stopped as most of it is illegal here in NC.
