Seat Belt "Button"
This is kind of a stupid question, but I'm sure someone else has had it before. The other night when I got out of my car, I closed the door and somehow the seat belt got caught between the door and the doorjamb. I didnt think anything of it, I just reclosed the door and went on my way. The next time I got in the car, I reached for the buckle and it wasnt where it normally is, it had fallen all the way to the bottom, beside the seat. Turns out the little plastic "button" that stops the belt from sliding all the way down was destroyed when I had my door closing incident. Is there any way to buy a replacement on its own? Anyone have a part number?
If not I'm probably going to go to radio shack and buy a couple rare earth magnets and put them on either side of the belt to accomplish the same thing!
Thanks for your help.

Interesting, no stock way to replace it? It looks like it just snaps through the belt with a pin, and would easy enough to replace if the part was available. Other people must have broken this as well, and on many other cars besides the corvette.

Stop by an auto upholstery shop. Most of them have little stuff like that laying around. They'll just give it to you if you ask nice or will sell it to you for a buck or two.
Magnets will move and in the unfortunate event of an accident, they become projectiles.
