Only 2 parts from C-6 are on the C-7

I didn't like the feel of sitting in C-7 compared to sitting in C-6. Perhaps sitting in C-7 made me feel like I was sitting in C-4. The passenger grab bar contributed to that somehow sitting low in smaller interior space?

You mean every bolt and screw on the C7 is unique? I wonder how much those are going to cost to replace.
Unique parts means expensive parts. That was one thing that was nice about the VW Beetle. For almost any part you needed you could go to the junk yard and find a dozen of them in like new condition.
And let's not forget, the Titanic was all new also.

Melting Slicks
Ya know, I really scratched my head when I learned that they reused "only" the cabin air filter and the roof latch.
Are margins so tight that they needed to reuse two parts that probably cost (them) less than $20 each? If so, surely they could have reused a radiator or something more substantial.
Did they do it intentionally to prove they tried to save the customer money by reusing items, any items, from another vehicle?
Did they feel that to claim to replace 100% of the car would not be believed by the general public?
Somebody please tell me why GM chose to reuse such trivial parts!!!

I don't think so. That two part only stuff is bs if you want to split hairs. Look at the clutch reservoir cap, same as a C6 as is the washer fluid cap. Dip stick looks to be the same also. There are more I just can't think of at the moment.
