C6 head light bucket painting??
I keep thinking my headlight buckets should be black on my car.
Can they be removed for painting?
How is this done?
Does anyone make CF buckets?
I would answer some of my own questions...but I can't look at my car till April (stored away for winter)

RLSebring does replace the lenses, and can also paint the bezels.
There was a post a few days ago which the OP cut off the headlight lenses, and replaced them with PL adhesive.
I'm a gambler, so I just finished cutting my lenses off, and getting the bezel painted.
If this experiment goes terribly wrong, I will buy 2 new lenses from Robert. I don't get my car out of hibernation until April, so I have lot's of time.
This is the thread that I refer to. I can e-mail you the cutting instructions if you want to get brave.

The job really isn't that bad. There have been a few thousand that have did the job. I base this solely on the fact that I have sold over 4000 lens to date.
There have been a lot of members post here of their experience. DIY is an opportunity to save some serious bucks. I would say patience is the biggest factor in being successful. While apart you can clean, wax, paint, install halos, etc...

My personal favorite is painting the trim rings any thing other than chrome.
