I own a 2008 narrow body Victory Red vert with 5200 miles on the clock what would be the benefit or reasons why I would or should trade up to a 2013 NARROW BODY vert with the same options but a new car with no miles or a 2013 used narrow body vert with very very low mileage? Thanks Dave any suggestions gladly apreciated

I don't see any 'advantage' at all. Pretty much the same car, and it's going to cost you thousands of $$ to switch.

Now, if you were going to move to something like a 427; that might make sense.

The price difference would not justify having a factory warrantee on the 2013s. Stick with what you have!

If you can find a new 13 Vert there's probably 15 to 17 grand off sticker which makes them very attractive...All I've seen left out there are the big ticket items like 427 100K plus cars...I got 29 grand for my 13000 mile 1LT 08 back in April on a new GS coupe,plus about 17 grand off sticker...

You have on 08 with "5200" miles. Its still brand new. Drive it. That's 1040 miles a year. Why would you want a "newer" car when you don't drive the one you have??? Just my observation and opinion.

Better seats, Bluetooth and iPod interface. For the delta between the prices, it is a no-brainer- keep the 2008.

I considered a similar question, but shifting from a 2009 to a 2013 427. Yes the 427 is great and will likely be a bit more collectable, but with a $30K delta it made zero sense.

My thoughts as well. Your car is damn near like being a new 2013 anyways with only 5k miles on the odo. If it were me and I already had your low mileage narrow 08, I would either keep it, or go for a new 2013 wide body C6 or C7.

Well put. In '08 if one bought a Corvette convertible then that is what one got. A Corvette convertible. Wide? Skinny? Base? Loaded? Narrow? Broad? Corvette made a beautiful convertible in 2008 and it was what it was.

As for the OP trading to a newer one? Just keep the old one and enjoy.

I personally can't really think of a single reason to make that move. 2008 got all the major updates, minor tweaks throughout the following model years.

I can't think of a single reason to switch from a 2008 that you don't drive to a newer model that you don't drive.

I think the Bluetooth and nicer seats are worthwhile upgrades (I'd really like the newer style seats in my car), but honestly you can add those for a LOT less.
