Why is "Never Driven in the Rain" a selling point?

Exactly. None of the collector and/or muscle cars I've owned had/have even seen rain or snow. Yes rain can dirty up the underneath as well as the engine compartment. When you go to sell that car (like I have done) potential buyers can tell how well taken care of the vehicle has been which hopefully translates into better selling potential and a faster sale.

Yes and where is it written never driven in rain means its never been wet lol..

I think it shows that he cared enough to keep it from hazardous conditions. also that he was out of his mind with maintenance and taking care above and beyond the necessary procedures . Take from it what you will. its a proven fact that these cars don't melt in the rain LOLClif
