Default silicone hose kit

can anyone tell me the routing on the heater hoses 05 ls2, replacing with the silicone kit, and the old hose to the larger firewall connection will not fit with the silicone hose looking at the old hose 1 side of the hose is larger then the other. the silicone one has same size on both end's. don't know if if was hooked up wrong to begin with or not. as it will fit if I switch them around but don't want to cause ant problems with the cooling system can't find a diagram no where help please!!!!

Default

I have a 2006 LS2, and when I bought a silicone hose set, I had the same issue.
I e-mailed a pic of the wrong hose, and they sent me a new one that fit properly at the heater core end. The lower heater core end ID is 3/4", not 5/8".
All other (3) fittings at the block and heater core were 5/8"
