...I grew up on a bike and many bikers wave back and forth so when I got the Vette last fall I wondered if there was a wave. No one to wave to and away it goes into storage for months but this year I am glad to see people wave at me when I pass. I must be a wave-aholic now cause I even wave at Vette's when I'm on my Vision....

It is easiest to "recognize" the other Vette when my top is off...I just stick my hand up and point at the other Vette passing. The best one for me happened the other day when a yellow C5 Vert with his top down saw me coming and had his arm up out the top going back and forth way before I got my wave on....he was very demonstrative about his wave...loved it!!!

I suspect the darker window tints are part of the problem. It's hard to see into a tinted car from a tinted car.

About a month ago I had a C5 owner flash their lights at me. My wife informed me of this.....I didn't even notice them until they were about to pass me. Sorry, no flash back or wave. Just didn't see them in time. Could be the case with a lot of people.

just took mine for its first trip ( only 2 hours one way ) I got 3 waves ( 2 C6's and 1 C3 ) and a thumbs up. I wave at all I see
