I have a red 2006 base coup Vette and I'm trying to decide which wheels from OE Wheels to put on my car. What wheels do you guys like ? I'm pretty sure I want to stay with 19's on the back and 18's on the front like the car has stock. Unless someone could tell me the benefits of maybe running 18's all the way around. Maybe I could run a taller/wider tire with the 18 on the back ? I'm just not sure what to do. Please help


I'm not sure what Gunmetal would look like but I don't want the rivets either.

OEM stock wheels 18x8.5 front 19x10 rear.


Offsets are +56 front and +79 rear.

Now do I stay with stock size tires or can I fit a little more meat on the 19x10 Rears ? Or would I need to go with 18's all the way around to do that ? What would some good tire sizes be for the 19's ? Or if the 18's would be the better choice for more tire what size would that be ?

The chrome just seems to bring the red out more than the black wheels did. A little more flashy with the chrome I think..

I have CCW 505's, powder coated comp grey on mine. They wear Z06 sized tires(325-275) and fit beautifully w/o wide body.

What size front and rear are the CCW's and do you have any pics you could post ?

They are 18X9.5 and 19X11. Offsets are right for reg C6.
I'm having recent trouble with my photobucket account and can't pull them up now. I posted them here before over the years but can't get them up at this time. I'll give it a try to figure out tomorrow what's wrong and correct it if I can.

I vote for option #1, I love the Comp Gray look, mine's Cyber Gray with Comp Grays, but I've seen a couple in Torch Red that look great with the gray wheels too. Way too many with Black wheels out there, just my $.02.
