I was there today and it seemed the crowds were very thin. The last time I was there was 2013 and it was packed.

Has attendance declined? I also noticed that there seemed to be more "swap meet" type of vendors and not as many of the nationwide vendors.

I still had a great time, just curious what others think?

Too freakin HOT! Was there from Wednesday to late this afternoon. Thursday was no different from any other Thursday at Carlisle. Didn't matter one bit if it was a show day or not. Vendors were setting up on Thursday even though they were supposed to be doing it Wed. Anyhow, Thursday was brutally hot. Friday, you didn't even have to hunt to find a spot to park. But the weather was much better. Today was another brutal, hot day with a cloudless sky. I'd say at least half or more of the people pulled out before 3. Just too much. Four days is too long IMO. I'd keep it 3. There was no real benefit to having it 4 days that I saw. And yes, I'd say there were less vendors. Bathfitter??

Nice. I live 3 hrs from there and have never made it. Wife always wants to vacation that week for some reason.

It's summer, it's going to be hot. My first Carlisle was in 2005 and the line to get into the fairgrounds stretched around the block. After our ride in this year I commented to a friend of mine that we saw a total of five Vettes over our entire ride from NJ (over a 2 hour ride). I'm wondering what the story on this is.

Great pics!! Really capture the essence of what it's all about! Don't know about the Thurs , Fri crowds....but yesterday's was pretty much what I remember from past years....that being said, many of us were bailing by around 1pm because it was just too hot!

This was around 1pm as I headed into the lot to find my red GS!

It was warm but I'll take that over the rain and storms last year. The parade was a big hit again, thousands of people, lots of young kids and older people out. Many couples in their 70s yelling at people to rev their cars. Sad part of the night, stopped at ice cream shop and young couple locked key fob in car with baby inside, resulted in AAA breaking drivers side window trying to open it. Everyone ok, young father was sick over incident of course.

How on Earth can you put a baby in a Corvette? And then why would you leave it in the car?

I was there all day Saturday. It was hot. But, thats Carlisle. IMO, Sunday used to be a great day to attend with the best of show and a Vette give away. No more Vette give away making Sunday a less attractive day to attend. All in all, still the best weekend of the year, by far.
