Default That was weird. Post those weird things your car has done.

Hopped in my '07 today, hit the switch, it started fine. When I pushed the brake pedal (Automatic in park) there came a click from the console under the shifter. Let off the brake, reapplied, clicked again, and did so every time I pushed the pedal. Didn't concern me as it is a GM product after all. So, let's hear your strange happenings. I can't be the only one.

Strange events with my 2011 GS
__________________________

Well, mine started spitting quarters out all 4 tail pipes.

Only does it when it's first started in the morning. I usually get anywhere between $3.00 - $4.00 out of the car every morning before it finally stops.

Been doing this ever since I started using the standard Walmart 'house-brand' oil in it.

No dimes or nickels ... only quarters!

Probably the solenoid that locks the gearshift in park until you step on the brake.

My air bag light came on and stayed on yesterday till I shut it off and restarted it.

Last week my transmission banged hard into drive and then would barely go forward. Shut off and restarted but acted the same. Towed to shop where the transmission was inspected and a few upgrades were installed. Oil and filter also changed....so far so good.

07 with 135,000 miles.

Thanks Jim. I didn't think it was anything serious, and happy to hear it isn't.

My 2007 has been doing this for the past couple of years, no big deal.

Hop in the car, press the start button and everything goes dead. Dead... No lights, no radio, no chime, can't even open the door, just dead... Figured out I had to press the off button and hold off for 2 seconds and try starting again. Back to life like nothing happened...

Oh ya, and I only get 8mpg on sunny days with no traffic.

Went out to the garage and added air to the tires. Checked the tire pressure readout on the DIC using ACC without starting the engine. Radio wouldn't work for 24 hours.

This is one of many mysteries I've encountered, but the car has always returned to perfect reliability.

touch the left air vent to adjust inside air flow and the car beeps. Move the lever and it beeps. Remembered this the other day when the wife touched the passenger side vent and the car beeped! strange. Nothing metal so even if a bare wire were touching the inside of the dash nothing like this should happen, its all plastic?

Every so often when I start her up, she'll sing a soft Oooooh in the key of E for a moment.

Rebel Yell, you could do a similar post on FOB gremlins. That's where I've had the most weirdness.

Climate control temp will flash, but only if I try to adjust the controls within 1 minute of turning it on. This occurs on a/c only. Shut off for 5+ minutes, and it stops. Happened a dozen times....any thoughts out there?

This is the strangest thing that ever happened to me - https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-this-car.html
It never happened again. I'll repeat, the software in these cars is very poorly written.

I have 11 GS also but yours sounds like it was drawn and quartered.
