Default Cyber Gray - Does it hide the road dirt film?

I am on the fence for buying a cyber gray Corvette. I realize if I drive my car it will get dirty. I would like a darker color that will not show off the dirt like a black car does after you go for a spin. I was hoping some Cyber Gray owners would enlighten me. If it doesn't mask the dirt; I may as well go black.

My CG looked way cleaner then my white I sure know that. I had a black one years ago and it always needed cleaning. I liked the CG and yes it looked OK even dirty!

It gets dusty fairly quick but nothing even close to black. It's a great color IMO.

Have a mag red C5 in addition to my CG 427. Never wanted black because of your concern. Love the way CG hides dust and dirt, even better than the Mag Red.

I think it hides the dirt fairly well.

Yes, CG definitely hides dust/dirt better than black or white.

Yup. And you'll love the way it subtly changes color under different light conditions, dirty or not.

Thanks all very much for the input. I was hoping Cyber Gray would seal the deal for me. I spend a lot of time detailing and it would be nice to have a color that would last longer appearing clean.

Go with the competition grey wheels, and you literally don't have to wash it at all

if you want a color that always looks clean - silver is your go to!

cyber gray will hide some of it but not all. it is definitely easier to maintain compared to black though.

I have had a Blue ,Black,White and Now a Cyber Gray Corvette and I can say without a doubt it is the best color I've had as far as looking good when its dirty.

Cyber Gray does a nice job of hiding the dirt. I LOVE my Cyber Gray for that reason and many others. It makes the car look pretty bad-azz without the hassle of black. If you are on the fence, go for it. I really think you will be pleased.

I had Spiral Gray on my C5, which is close to but lighter than CG. Reasonably good at not showing dirt, but Silver is WAY better. Not that I ever let mine get dirty anyway, but it's nice being able to go 3-4 weeks without having to clean it.

Agreed, silver is great for hiding dirt. My wife and I have had several silver cars now, and most times when I washed them I have been surprised at how dirty they actually were.

better than Black but if hiding dirt is the main colour selection criteria - go with silver. I use a California Duster for the dust to keep it clean.

I've had most every color imaginable at one time or another.

CG does do a nice job of hiding road film and dirt, but by far Blade Silver is the only color I've had that looks clean most all the time.

With a nice coat of wax to keep it shiny, Blade Silver is the best dirt hider I've owned.

Whatever you decide....good luck!

I have owned my CG Z for almost 4 years and have been pleasantly surprised at how well it looks when dirty. Of course I can't stand it when its dirty so it doesn't stay that way very long but.
