We will be hitting the back roads again in a couple of days, in the mean time, here's a couple of photos from CT.

We took a ride over to Mystic Seaport today for lunch....nice small town feel and very photogenic.

Remember the movie; "Mystic Pizza"?

Today we ran the back roads north from Plainfield CT to Great Barrington Mass, then headed south on Rt 7. Lots of fall colors and picturesque towns along the way. We make a stop at Line Rock; watched a little HPDE track day and tried to buy a T-shirt but the damm Souvenir shop attendant decided to close-up early.... @#$%! so I had to settle for a few pics and hit the road again.

Lunch stop in one of the old towns

Passing through another small town

Just could not pass up another race track

Back on the road; today we stopped at the National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly VA. just outside of Washington DC. This extension museum has all the larger planes that will not fit in the museum on the mall. Like all the National Museums, this one is free to enter but cost $15 to park....so bring a car load of people.

See all my photos here;

From the outside;

Wall to wall planes on the inside;

You have to look everywhere to see it all

Nice pics...I've been to most of the places and lived up in the NE before....still have relatives up that way....so it was a little stroll down memory lane.

Default Nice!

Mike,

Nice pictures, have seen some of the area and very interesting.

Hope to make the next Vette luncheon and get a change from the Colorado cabin redo which has extended from 4 to 6 weeks to 3 months. It will be nice to get away from the area where people don't really care to work. Buy it mint here and hope it doesn't break!

Have a nice & safe trip home to Keller.

John
