Calling all cars! Calling all cars! Well, okay, not all cars. A choice, select few cars that I know are on this forum.
So, like a lot of corvette owners I suspect, I dream of having one of each generation. Somewhere in the depths of my soul I yearn to own a C1 through C7, simultaneously. Now when the reality of being an English teacher in Michigan sets into that fantasy, along with the fact that I lack a garage even remotely big enough to store such a collection, I realize that it is unlikely such a thing will occur. So I am shooting for a lesser goal, but a beautiful one nonetheless.
I'd like to hang a 2 foot by 5 foot poster print of each of the following cars... My dream versions of each generation. Like the few I already have.
And I'm asking this great forum to help me acquire the photos. Now to blow a picture up that big, it has to have been taken on at least a 16 meg camera - high resolution camera, or it will be very blurry at that size.
I'll post this request on each of the forums here and while I think other members will like to see the results I'm hoping you'll email the picture to me, as well. I know it's a big request. I also know that the generosity and expertise of this forum is unparalleled.
If you have one of these cars or a high res picture of one of these cars (preferably in profile) and would be generous enough to send it along, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to hang it's image in my garage.

You can probably find many of the photos that you need at this website:

you can collect photos from members, or maybe purchase some old Chevrolet and Corvette photos online at all the usual websites, or try GM photo store. http://www.gmphotostore.com/Corvette/departments/1366/
I don't believe the site is operated by GM, but rather a collaborative to sell old prints.

Thanks fellas. Great shots of freat cars. And the links were helpful as well.
I can't wait to get that garage finished and start putting up these monster prints. It should look great. But dang it all, sanding drywall seams and re mudding where I was sloppy, then paint. Ughhh! I'm getting too old for that.
Thanks all. Much appreciated.
