On Black it makes absolutely no diff. They both look the same.

I have a black C6 with the transparent top, I love it because people don't notice, but when they do it's like a hidden feature.

on all other colors I like body color unless they paint the hoop black.

Have silver coupe. I think the body color halo with Lexan top looks cool. All black cockpit with dark tint windows is overwhelming. JMO

Has anybody added more tint to the glass top to help with the heat issue?

I've had both and overall prefer the glass one 95% of the time. Of course when it get up into the 90's during the middle of the day especially in summertime I wish I had the painted top. But that isn't too much of my driving time. And when we get those heat-waves with 90's and 100deg temps I tend to drive my sedan instead anyway - seems to have better AC overall anyway.

We have machine silver and the wife and I both like the look of the transparent top better. We do change them out based on the weather. Six months painted, 6 months transparent.

Default Depends on car color

Also if your windows are tinted. What does a used transparent top sell for?Oh and what about shipping and or getting broken while shipping?

I don't know if that's an original photo, or if it's been photochopped.

Doesn't matter, it's a great shot, but it looks better without the parking meters.

We had both tops for our '01 and '08 and enjoyed both cars with both tops. With switching the tops every now and then it was almost like driving a different car, and one noticeable difference was how the cabin acoustics changed with each top.

After owning nothing but coupes since my '65 Corvette, we went for the 427 convertible and are really happy with the no top option.

or 4th option;

top is not removable

When I had my C6 Silver Coupe, I had a solid colour top only. I bought a clear top, used it maybe one season then re-sold it. IMO the solid top made my car look like a serious deal race car, the clear top made it look like a prissy sports car

Too much color is ugly to me. I used my transparent top 100% of the time to break up all the color.
