Real quick, real easy poll question:

In your humble opinion, which looks better on your C6?...the painted top or the transparent top? Forget the ability to see out of the transparent or the heat factor...just from the 'way it looks', which do YOU prefer?

On my machine silver I like the transparent but it really doesn't matter. Mine is in the hatch most of the time.

I havent had my painted one on in a couple years now. I love that transparent one with tinted windows.

Both it doesn't matter! But the painted one has a little edge.

I like them both....the change is good and I run the solid on summer and the clear in winter.

I like the transparent top, but of course, they both look good. slight bias to the one I have, right?

I'm planning on vinyl wrapping the painted area between the hatch glass and the transparent top as well, in gloss black. it should give the entire top end of the car a solid black look.

I had the transparent top on mu Torch Red '01 and I have the painted on on my '07. I like the

painted one better, now that I have had both.

On the C6 it's a toss up. On the C7 the transparent looks awful, causing the B pillar to look like a folded-up accordion.

I had the same with my TR C5...just the transparent top. I mostly use the painted top on my C6. I have a C6 transparent top, but I think the red top goes just a little bit better with the rest of the car.

It depends on the color of the vette. With Black, it makes no difference, but a white or yellow vette, the Transparent top looks much better IMO.
I personally prefer the transparent look on my VY

I think the transparent looks better with dark tinted windows and black halo and works on any color.

I have to go with the transparent top. I have both tops but I had the white one wrapped in black because I like the look better

I had the transparent top, like a fool, I sold it because I got tired of listening to the other half gripe about how hot the car was in summer here in TX. I've hit the point with her bi*ching about the Vett in general to where now I tell her shut up or stay home.
