will a z06 bumper fit on stock c6 base front qtr panels? want to do a rear wide body kit and also fron z06 bumper.

No, it won't fit. It will bolt on but the fender seams don't line up correctly.

Do you really want a fake scoop that badly?

Somebody made a front clip that will fit.Can't remember who though.

The scoop on my GS has some holes in it. Not sure how much help that makes, but it does in theory flow some air.

SIC motorsports made a nice looking front bumper with the Z06 style scoop and splitter designed to fit the base fenders, not sure if they still make them.

I've been considering the same thing. Not a fan of the wide body but the base front clip is a bit lame. Not just the lack of a fake inlet but the lower GS/Z06 opening and splitter add some needed aggression. I'm considering locating a GS front clip and having a good shop modify the lower valence to match the front fenders.

Definitely don't like the lower valance of this bumper.

A good body shop can get the OEM Z06 front bumper fit "OK". Not perfect, but not too bad. There is usually a slight 'krinkle' in the bumper where it is bent (a little more than it would be with wider fenders) to join up with the narrow fenders.

Also there are grooves and cutouts on the fenders and bumper (where they join) that will not match up. (They are different between the wide body and narrow body parts)

The liner just in front of the front wheels might have to be "worked" a little as well.
